To make sure your house looks like a buyer’s dream home, you need to make a good first impression by staging your home.  Home staging doesn’t only involve repairing and cleaning your home, it also allows the buyer to imagine their own belongings in the rooms of your house to give them a feeling of excitement that could lead to an offer.

Follow these tips when staging your home:

1. Remove all your personal belongings like family pictures or portraits.  A buyer needs to see their lives in your home, not themselves in your life.
2. Remove bulky or extra furniture to make the room spacious but make sure there is enough furniture to clearly spell out what the room is intended for.
