Another high profile celebrity is listing her home for a smaller price.  Sharon Stone listed her N. Beverly Drive home with an asking price of $8,995,000.  The actress bought the house in March of 2006 for $10,995,000.  After buying the posh property, the actress had a change of heart 4 months later and listed the house with an asking price of $12,500,000.

The property went on and off the market several times until it vanished from the open market in November of 2007.  The property popped back on the market in May of 2008 with a new asking price of $10,000,000 but no one still bought the house.  The property was then leased in the fall of 2008 at a rate of $35,000 per month.

The 4.85 acre estate has a main house that measures 6,640 square feet. It has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, art media room, workout room and a detached guest house that contains 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  The house is lavishly decorated with Venetian plaster, inlaid and honed limestone floors, a fireplace, hardwood paneled den with ecru wall carpeting, built in cabinetry and French doors to name a few.  The landscaped grounds include a circular drive, lagoon style swimming pool, secluded seating areas, garden with fruit trees, tennis court and viewing pavilion.
