You can increase your home’s appeal by changing the color and the layout.  A lot of people are afraid of color and gets stuck with boring and monotonous color like creams and whites.

A good way to make the rooms of your house more attractive is by creating an accent wall.  In creating an accent wall, pick a specific and strong color that can make the room warmer and cozier.  Colors like deep red or gray blue are good options but it will still depend on the whole look of the room you’re working on.  Also paint the ceiling.  Paint the ceiling with the same color of the room but a few shades lighter.  This will make the ceiling connected with the rest of the room.

You can also change the layout by rearranging the furniture in the rooms.  Turn a square table or square seating area diagonally to give the room a whole new feel.  The key is to change the layout of the furniture at different and right angles.  Keep the balance by making sure all the large pieces are not grouped together.
