Numerous Tax Default Notices Sent to Delinquent San Diego Residents

What is it with San Diego County residents that they seem to be having a difficult time catching up on their taxes?  Well, we don’t know about that.  But what we know is this news: 46,751 San Diego County residents were delinquent on, or have not paid, their property taxes, says San Diego County Treasurer-Tax Collector Dan McAllister.  According to him, delinquent taxpayers in the county owe more than $289 million in back taxes.  What an immense amount, isn’t it?  But that is even lower than the county’s back taxes last year.  We see this is not bad news after all.
